Inviting students
Getting students signed in, and exactly what they can and can't see.
Generate an invitation link from a student's settings and send it to them. There's no app to install — it runs in a phone browser.
- 1On the student's page, open Settings and create an invitation link.
- 2Send them the link — email, messaging app, whatever you already use.
- 3They open it, sign in, and their account is tied to that student.
An invitation link works once
After one person uses it, it's spent. To send it to someone else, generate a new one.
What students see
- Published assignments, and test results you've released
- Your comments and the chat thread
- Their own schedule and any bookable slots
- The parts of their record you've chosen to show
What students never see
- Draft assignments and tests, and grades before release
- AI drafts you haven't confirmed
- Your own working notes
- Anything at all about another student
